Cambridge, MA can be a good town for older adults to live in. Here are some reasons why:

Cambridge promote accessible and inclusive physical and social environments, and support and encourage older adults to remain healthy, active and connected, as well as independent by providing pleasant, clean, secure and publicly accessible out door and building ,accessible and affordable transportation, opportunities to participate in leisure, social, cultural and spiritual activities with people of all ages and cultures and also age friendly communication and information is easily accessible through a variety of mediums and venues. Cambridge has the best community and health services and there is a continuum of easily accessible programs and services to meet older persons' needs.
I always see people not letting elders sit down or holding a door open for am elder.
This is an area in which older people are far outnumbered by young students, and in which the old and young rarely interact. The older residents mostly stay in their small communities (e.g. multi-generational homes) rather than partake in the social activities in the main squares (e.g. bars, clubs) that are dominated by young folks. There is some crime and homelessness here, as well.
Age friendly because of all the retirement buildings in the whole city.
