Dallas is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the most populous city in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, which is the fourth most populous metropolitan area in the United States.

The Dallas Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) is the department under the umbrella of the Community Council of Greater Dallas responsible for planning, advocating, coordinating resources, and providing services for seniors (persons 60+) and their caregivers in the Dallas County area.

1. Self Management Programs: Interactive workshops focus on building your skills to deal with any ongoing health conditions, including arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, diabetes, depression, emphysema, heart disease, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, and other physical and mental conditions.

2. Benefits Counceling Program: Helps seniors and caregivers understand public entitlement programs including Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Medicare and Medicaid. Benefits Specialists provide individual counseling and make referrals for assistance by telephone and at designated counseling sites.

3. Better Choices, Better Health Dallas: Provides Seniors with Diabetes self management strategies for healthier living.

If you're over 60 in Dallas, employment is almost impossible. Too many young people have moved to Dallas and there's no demand for experience.
