Although, I have 25 years of experience and love what I do. I have a hard time finding a job. I believe it is my age. When I was younger, I could walk out of one place and have another job before I get home.
I've lived in the neighborhood for three years it's very nice and quiet.
There are great programs for those who need a little extra help and a fair amount of parks and restaurants in the area. However, affordable housing options are very limited as well as fresh local food sources. The mobility in the city is Not the best either but is definitely improving.
its very age friendly because we have a park that all the elders in the neighborhood walk also a community that helps our elders with their trash and other needs around their homes such as shopping feeding their pets and yard duties around their homes.
I say its age Friendly because there is a lot of older people around. And there a school 2 blocks away.
