I am relatively new in the neighborhood, but the few times I've been about town,I got that perception of respect and care.

I lived in Melvile, NY and the house that I lived in is owned by a friendly older couple. Unluckily, they are selling the house. I just moved to Huntington Station 2 weeks ago and I don't know yet about the neighborhood. But in the house where I am living now, there are 5 renters aging from 30-55, and they are friendly.
