Killeen is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. According to the 2010 census, its population was 127,921, making it the 21st-most populous city in Texas. It is the principal city of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Killeen is directly adjacent to the main cantonment of Fort Hood. Its economy depends on the activities of the post, and the soldiers and their families stationed there. It is known as a military “boom town” because of its rapid growth and high influx of soldiers.

The area where I live it is military based. Everyone has done there time in the military and the atmosphere is in a friendly status. Everyone has the ability to help anyone in need in every situation. But the way things are now I am so blessed to live in my area.It is not about the age in my area, it is about people helping people.


A There's a lot of Vets young and old that lives in and surrounding areas.


The city of Killeen welcomes all ages from family cafés, daycares to senior living centers.

I just moved here from Lawton, Ok. And so far the people I have meet have been really nice and have made me glad to have moved here.
