Centralina Area Agency on Aging (AAA) strives to support and enhance the capacity of service and advocacy systems to promote independence, preserve dignity and advocate for the rights of older and disabled adults and their families.
The Centralina AAA serves a nine county region and is an “on-the-ground” organization charged with helping vulnerable older adults and people with disabilities live with independence and dignity in their homes and communities. The CAAA serves the counties of Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly & Union. We are located at 9815 David Taylor Dr., Charlotte, NC 28262.

The neighbors help one another in my community. Whether it be yard work, a ride to the grocery store or just having general conversations.

This community has several religious venues within a 10 mile radius. We are a diverse community as far as nationalities and ethnic groups with extended family members living within the city or state. There are various modes of transportation from city bus and transit, taxi or other private car services. As far as entertainment, we have numerous restaurants within walking distance and Senior Day centers that offer activities and socializing with neighbors and making new friends.
