Joliet ( or ) is a city in Kendall and Will counties in the U.S. state of Illinois, 30 miles (48 km) southwest of Chicago. It is the county seat of Will County and part of southwest Chicagoland. At the 2010 census, the city was the fourth largest in Illinois, with a population of 147,433. A special census in 2016 put Joliet's population at 149,395, making it the 3rd largest city in Illinois.

This little area in Joliet which is called the cathedral area are mostly seniors but of lot of young individuals and families have moved here different races and they all seem to be getting along yes we have a lot of police around our area but I don't think that makes the different people are just nice around here well at least most of them
The east side of Joliet is a mixed of older and newer people.
There is a very helpful senoir services center in Joliet.
It's a college town so it has a lot of fun little arcades in the towns over, a HUGE YMCA, & lots of good restaurants.
