Killeen is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. According to the 2010 census, its population was 127,921, making it the 21st-most populous city in Texas. It is the principal city of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Killeen is directly adjacent to the main cantonment of Fort Hood. Its economy depends on the activities of the post, and the soldiers and their families stationed there. It is known as a military “boom town” because of its rapid growth and high influx of soldiers.

My neighbor hood is age friendly because we are within ages thirty's to fifty and we assists each other with daily activities and looks out for each other's well being .
I am living here now for nearly a year and I worked and socialise with the elderly mostly .and it is easy to get around because I have my own transportation. And most of all the client have they own transportation too.
People, we as people should do more to help other people we see in need.
Great heath care,affordable housing, good working conditions public transportation ,access to different colleges,senior citizen facilities ,wonderful churches
