Shows great family orientation and positive safe environment.
San Antonio has living communities for the elderly, job, and transportation(via buses, via vans etc)
Everyone in the apartment complex is friendly and respectful. A lot of the residents that stay in the apartment complex are majority elderly people and are very sweet .
general livability
I believe all communities have a network for the elderly and disabled. As a caregiver one thing that I have heard often is " I don't want to bother my children". Which leads them to not reaching out for help. For many of the elderly their independence is very important. As we age we slowly lose some of our indolence, such as driving, or daily activities. I think and believe every community needs a network of individual, who check on the elderly, it maybe mowing the grass to simply sitting down with someone and having a conversation. As an example, several weeks ago an elderly neighbor passed away, it was almost three day before anyone realized what happened.
