Due to treatment that was not given in a timely manner, (from E.R., to surgical intervention) I lost my left lower leg and foot, sustained a decubitus ulcer on my coxxyx that took over a year to close, front upper teeth knocked loose and crooked due to airway placement, an M.I. during an eleven hour surgery (which didn't solve my problem,) and hypertension following the two surgeries there. About two months later, telogen effuvium was evident. Previous to all that, I'd been a natural athlete all my life-with little to no declines in my physical capacities with aging. I had never been on routine medications until after those first two surgeries; now, I am on four.
