Brooklyn's official motto, displayed on the Borough seal and flag, is Eendraght Maeckt Maght which translates from early modern Dutch as "Unity makes strength". Since 2010, Brooklyn has evolved into a thriving hub of entrepreneurship and high technology startup firms, and of postmodern art and design. Brooklyn can be a desirable place for older adults to live for many reasons:
- Healthcare facilities: Brooklyn is home to numerous world-class hospitals and medical centers, including Maimonides Medical Center and NYU Langone Health. These facilities provide access to a wide range of healthcare services and specialized treatments.

My neighborhood is age friendly. We ha e parks, schools and a pool nearby! We are also close to train stations and 2 bus lines. Come by and visit.we also have a children museum nearby.
Parks For young kids mommy and me for toddlers plenty of daycare centers Movie theaters for all ages community centers for 65 and older that provides entertainment and breakfast plus free breakfast parks for children sports for all ages jogging path bike paths
Lots of services and ahopping that mature citizens need- banking, gas, clothing, supermarkets, barber, religious institutions, pharmacies, medical facilities
Not sure that my area is age-friendly - I don't really see a lot of options for those of us who are over the age of 50 (I'm almost 60 myself) - maybe one senior center in the area

Age friendly, there is a park nearby, with senior center and activities for adults of all ages, also near public transportation. There is also a commercial area within walking distance. Most businesses are wheelchair accessible.
