I would say age friendly. Baby boomers are aging. Unfortunately, at a rapid pace. There are gracious people in this city. Very family oriented. But on the flip side, we have women who lost their way..and it's not pretty..overdose and alcoholics who passed away..it is sad..for they were my close friends....they were both gracious.
Lack of public transportation, no senior communities close by.
people respect alder person. They always want help to them at the store.
Neighbors know each other and we watch each ones back
San Antonio is a military city and has a mild climate, so there are many retirees here. Also, there is a major medical center as well as several hospital systems. There are four universities and a network of community colleges.
