Waltham is age friendly because of the availability of infrastructures like the Train, buse, clinics and shopping areas. Schools and theater. There are a variety of Nursing homes.

Generally Waltham is very livable for all age groups. It is walkable, and there is good public transportation. However, there is a lack of affordable housing, including for senior citizens.
