I live in an active over 55 community so it is specifically geared to folks over the age of 55 with different activities, amenities, and groups for all interests
Great friendly and wonderful place to live what else can I say I really don't know what to say as neighborhood is great . Friendly but not too nosy neighbors just right
My neighborhood has a range of families and ethnic backgrounds. Old and young mixed.some people don't get along with the Latino culture in the city.there have been drug and gang related problems which makes the city undesirable
we have schools for all grades and ages of children and also have evening continuing ed classes for adults. We also have senior housing and a senior center.
Residents age from young families to retirees. Neighbors arrange for social gatherings during the year. New neighbors are included in all activities. Neighbors check on one another especially during stormy weather.
our neighbors are pleasant and friendly regardless of age, it has senior housing, a senior center, meals on wheels, senior discounts / food pantry and welcoming stores
There is a park near my house that has tennis court baseball court playground and dog park so many local residents frequent this park. There is also a charter school in the neighborhood so very family and kids friendly.
not welcoming and not un-welcoming; everybody on their own; have lived here for 23 years and no problems relative to my age; is a community that's quite diverse
People in Dorchester tend to have respect for the seniors. Some do not but, it's not much of a problem. There have been some youngsters causing a ruckus but, it's seldom !
this town is most geared toward sports only if your child is not in sports you are pretty much an outcast town has no money for improvements for middle school but townies approved new millions of dollars high school
